“REISHMI” is a cellulosic yarn made out of raw wood pulp (typically Maple and Beech Wood) grown in Europe. Reishmi is an eco- friendly yarn with a silky soft feel. The yarn maintains its silkiness even after repeated wash. It has high water absorbency and its wet strength is higher than that of cotton. It is also antimicrobial in nature and possesses the property to stop the growth of bacteria and viruses to a large extent.
REISHMI yarn has excellent washing and light fastness, rating 4 to 5 out of 5 on the BIS Scale as per international standard. Fabrics made out of this yarn provide long-lasting durability even after multiple washes while maintaining its colour integrity.
REISHMI Yarn is available in counts 2/20s, 2/30s, 2/40s, 2/60s, 2/80s and 2/100s.
